The Lakewood Seward Park Community Club is a community owned space managed by the Lakewood Seward Park Community Association which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Renting the Community Club for your private event
The clubhouse is available for rent 7 days a week (New Year’s Eve excluded). Our building is in the middle of a residential neighborhood and we ask that potential renters be respectful when considering our space for an event. We do not allow any music to be played inside the clubhouse after 10:00 pm any day of the week. Amplified music is never permitted in the yard or outside of the building. Events must be scheduled to end at 10:00pm,
Liability insurance is required for all events at which alcohol is served. A Liquor Liability Insurance Certificate must be received by LSPCC staff at least 30 days prior to the rental. You will also need a Banquet Permit or Special Occasion License.
Your personal insurance agent may be able to provide you with the insurance that is needed.

We keep our online calendar current so please feel free to check availability to guide your event planning.
All events must end by 10:00pm. Renters are expected to include an hour past the end time in their rental to accommodate clean up. All renters will need to have vacated the building by 11:00pm.
The total length of time of the rental will need to include time for set up and time for clean-up.
Monday – Thursday the rental rate is $50 per hour. There is a minimum rental period of 2 hours.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday the rental rate is $50 per hour until 1:00pm and then after 1:00pm the rental rate is $100 per hour. There is a minimum rental period of 4 hours.
For members of the Community Association who have been members for at least six months prior to the rental we offer discounted event rates as a benefit of membership. For members the off-peak rate is $40 per hour (excludes classes) and the peak rates are $90 per hour for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The LSPCC offers an all-day rental rate (8:00am – 11:00pm) of $1200.00
Class Rates (with a booking of a series of classes of 8 or more) – $40 per hour (weekdays only).
Please note that we do not offer a non-profit discount.
We charge a $50 cleaning fee for all events. This is the amount that we pay to have a cleaner come in between events. The cleaning fee is due at the same time that rent is due for your event.
Deposit and Payment Requirement
A $100 ($200 if all day rental) security deposit is payable at the time of booking. We do cash your check (if paid by check) and assuming that all contractual obligations are met the deposit is 100% refundable by payment method used after your event.
All rental fees must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event. The LSPCC accepts credit cards, cash, money orders and personal checks. You can make payment by PayPal (email@example.com), Zelle (firstname.lastname@example.org) or we can send you a payment link to pay by credit card via Square.
What’s included in the rental?
The LSPCC can accommodate a party up to and no larger than 150 guests. We provide tables and chairs for your use. We also allow free use of the kitchen, back patio and yard area.
All parking is street parking.
Please note that LSPCC staff is not on-site but we will be happy to provide a tour of the community club by appointment.
Please don’t send contracts or payments via certified mail or overnight delivery service as there is no one on site to accept delivery.
