The Lakewood Seward Park Emergency Hub is now in its 7th year! Our group of dedicated volunteers plan, educate, organize, and practice to keep our neighborhood safe in the event of disaster. The Hub’s role is to:
- Encourage individual and household preparedness.
- Share materials that make your preparedness journey clearer and easier.
- Plan and train with our community to collectively increase disaster readiness.
- Set up our Hub in Lakewood Playfield after an actual disaster–to offer health and safety information, share resources, organize volunteers, and post information from government agencies.
We can’t wait until disaster strikes to get organized. Together we can prepare our families, our immediate neighborhoods, and the wider community of the Hub. Join us as a volunteer! We need people of all different abilities and skills. We meet on the first Monday of the month, 7–8:30 pm at the Lakewood Seward Park Community Club.
